What type of session should I book?
When life events overlap, it can be hard to know what photoshoot best suit your needs (hello, pregnant ladies with existing babies who also want the whole family to ‘sit down’ for an image for once!)
So let me tell you more about what you can expect for each of my photography sessions so you can book the one that gives you the exact type of images you desire the most.
GET IN TOUCHMaternity Sessions
Maternity Sessions are made to capture your pregnancy at around 30 weeks.
Focus: These sessions have a strong focus on mum & bump.
What else gets captured: Interactions between mum & existing children, mum & partner and (if requested) all family, but there will be fewer of these images to choose from than in a Family Session.
The majority of the images will be: you, your pregnancy & your glow.
Newborn / Baby Sessions
Newborn / Baby Sessions are made to capture a new baby whose age is 0 - 12 months.
Focus: These sessions have a strong focus on baby and baby & parents.
What else gets captured: Interactions between baby & parents, baby & siblings and all family (if requested), but there will be fewer of these images to choose from than in a Family Session.
The majority of the images will be: your beautiful new baby in all his / her glory, captured both alone and with you.
Family Sessions
Family Sessions are made to capture your family as a whole and every member of your family individually.
Focus: These session have a strong focus on your family as a whole, and allow time to capture all types of interactions (whole family, siblings together, individual children portraits, mum & children, dad & children etc).
What else gets captured: maternity solo images if mum is pregnant, and solo baby images if a new baby is present, but there will be fewer of these images to choose from than in a Maternity or Newborn / Baby session respectively.
The majority of the images will be: Your family, all of its members and the special bond you all share.
